Hello Ghayna, This quote make so much sense. When we allow the child to work at a task independently we promote problem-solving skills and enhance the child's positive sense of self.
Ghayna, As a Montessori teacher this is a quote that we often give to parents. It is also one of my favorites and I can't believe that I missed it when I put my quotes on my blog. Thank you for sharing new information through out this course. Good luck with the next class. Misty
The quote is wonderful and I will use it for further reference. It is hard sometimes to realize that children can think for themselves, although, it may not be what we think it should be, it is their way of thinking about the problem and we must honor their thinking process.
It has been wonderful being in class with you again. You have so many wonderful insights about the subject matter and I truly hope to work with you again. I hope your next class is exciting and allows you to continue with your words of wisdom.
Thank you for sharing this quote and all of your insights and knowledge. I have learned a lot from your contributions, and I love reading your posts! I wish you luck in the rest of your journey through the early childhood program, and I hope that we will share insights in classes in the future!
Thank you for sharing your detailed and thoughtful posts. You have posted a wonderful selection of information not just for your classmates, but for those inquisitive people out there who are looking to learn more about early childhood development. Thank you for making one more source of great resources for all of us!
